Giving Thanks

Thanksgiving Day was something special at St. Matthews … “Very Special”.
We had an open table for family, friends and anyone from the community who wanted to join us … There were two large turkey’s and a perfectly baked Ham (Heidi’s special), and of course all the stuffing and trimmings that go along with the traditional “Thanksgiving Meal” .
Our tables were brimming with food, and all told there were just over 40 folks in attendance. The parish hall was alive with the joyful sounds of the kingdom of God as the spirit of fellowship and laughter filled the air, and no one left the house of the Lord in any way hungry … “What a Great day it was!”
